What is Structure Coffee?

Structure Coffee turns a barista's brewing recipe into a QR-coded, timer-guided extraction guide that anyone can scan to reproduce. Roasters and cafés can attach recommended recipes to their beans and turn customers into fans; home baristas can recreate that café cup in their own kitchen.

Can I use it for free?

The service is free to use. Verify your email address and set a password to register, then use the available features, including recipe recording, timers, comparison, and sharing.

Can I use it without registering an account?

You can view public recipes and use their timers without registering. An account is required to save your own recipes or add shared recipes to your list.

Will creating a recipe automatically generate and publish a QR code?

No. Simply creating a recipe does not publish it. Sharing (QR code / link) is enabled only when you explicitly choose to publish a recipe. You can save recipes as drafts, refine them, and publish only when you're ready.

How are dynamic QR codes different from PDF or printed recipe cards?

Static recipe cards can't be updated once distributed. With Structure Coffee's dynamic QR, any change you make in the dashboard instantly propagates to every distributed QR and shared link — no reprinting, no outdated versions floating around.

Can home baristas use it too?

Yes. Scan the QR or open the shared link, and a timer-guided extraction walks you through pour amounts and timing step by step. No app install needed — it runs in any modern web browser.

Which brewing equipment is supported?

Hand-drip equipment is supported, including grinders, drippers, and filters. Grinders can be registered with their step settings (for example, 0 to 10 in 0.5 increments). Once you register your equipment, it appears in dropdowns on future entries — no need to re-enter the same details.

Can I use it without a TDS meter?

Yes. Measurements such as TDS are optional. You can start by recording beans, equipment, and pours, or by using the timer.

Is my recipe data kept secure?

Private recipes are not published to other users. Recipes you choose to publish, along with the profile information included in public sharing, can be viewed by others through shared links. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is handled.
